Hyundai Showcases Hydrogen Truck and Wearable Robot at Le Mans 24 Hours

Hyundai Motor Group deployed its XCIENT Fuel Cell Class-8 truck and X-ble Shoulder wearable robot to support Genesis Magma Racing during its debut in the Hypercar category at the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans. The hydrogen-powered XCIENT Fuel Cell truck transported test equipment, spare parts and precision engineering tools throughout the event with zero tailpipe emissions, highlighting the practical potential of hydrogen for heavy-duty motorsport logistics. Recognised as the world's first mass-produced hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty truck, the XCIENT fleet now operates across five European countries, with 175 trucks covering a combined 21.8 million kilometres. Meanwhile, Hyundai's X-ble Shoulder wearable robot helped technicians reduce physical strain during demanding maintenance tasks, improving efficiency in the pit and garage.
